A treadmill or laser unit is only useful when it is paired with a plan. At AV Veterinary Center, rehabilitation includes hands-on treatments and therapies with clear purposes: hydrotherapy, K-Laser / therapeutic laser, manual therapy, acupuncture, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Hydrotherapy / Underwater Treadmill
Hydrotherapy uses an underwater treadmill so your dog can walk with part of their body weight supported by water. It is often used after orthopedic or spinal surgery, for arthritis, or when land exercise is too stressful on joints. K-Laser / Therapeutic Laser
K-Laser (therapeutic laser) is a hands-on light therapy used to support comfort and tissue recovery as part of a veterinary plan. It may be discussed for sore joints, surgical recovery, or selected skin and soft-tissue concerns. What to expect: typically a short, supervised session; staff use eye protection for people and pets as needed. How to inquire: call (661) 729-1500. A veterinarian will decide if laser therapy fits your pet’s condition.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Additional rehabilitation options
Depending on the case, the rehab team may also discuss electrotherapy, therapeutic ultrasound, chiropractic care, or platelet-rich plasma (PRP). These are offered when a veterinarian believes they may help—not as a substitute for diagnosis or surgery when those are needed.
